Why microwave radio links fail to live up to your expectations:

WiFi, WiMax, Backhaul and Point-To-Point microwave radio links are more than an "if you can see it, it will work" scenario.  Line Of Sight (LOS) is actually much more than "line of sight".  As you see in the picture above, the RF signals sent out are more elliptical, than a laser-beam of energy.

Links that fail or lack performance have problems in their initial link plans.  The farther you "shoot" your signal, the more it becomes influenced by issues, such as: curvature of the earth; hills and ridges; reflections off water, buildings, etc.

Can you afford to gamble on the success of your links?

The Objective Group evaluates each end of the link and what is in between, providing a detailed Link Planning Report and Analysis. This covers not only between the sites (Link Profile; Reflections and Elevations) but: minimum suggested tower heights; antenna gain, transmission cables; plus predicted throughput and availability.  Google Earth kml shows 3D links for even more clarity.

We can do this for links virtually anywhere on the face of the globe.
